Johnson City High School alum returns share some experiences

News

A Johnson City High School alumnus who’s worked across the country, returned to his alma mater to share some of his experiences.

Keith Hannon was the President for the class of 2000.

After high school, he went on to Ithaca College where he majored in Broadcasting.

Shortly after graduating college, he moved to Los Angeles where he worked in TV, video game developing and stand-up comedy.

While in TV he worked for Nickelodeon on shows such as “Drake and Josh” and “iCarly” as well as at Fox Sports on “The Best Damn Sports Show Period”

Hannon says he wants students to know that there are many different avenues you can take to do what you’re passionate about.

Hannon is back in Upstate New York now, living in Ithaca.

He currently is the Major Gifts officer for Cornell Athletics and serves as a village trustee and as the police commissioner in Trumansburg.

Hannon also took part yesterday in JC’s Athletes 2 Athletes charity basketball game.
