Former Binghamton University women’s basketball player Alyssa James has signed a professional contract to play overseas in Montenegro.
James will join Buducnost, which competes out of the nation’s capital of Podgorica.
After one year at Caldwell University, Alyssa transferred to BU and went on to have one of the most successful careers in program history.
That includes finishing as BU’s, and the America East’s, all-time leader in blocks with 270.
She also finished 5th in rebounding and 13th in scoring.
James becomes the second Bearcat to sign a professional contract this year.
All-time leading scorer Imani Watkins signed one back in September to play in Turkey.
As for the current Bearcats, they’re back in action on Sunday at #2 Notre Dame.
