Governor Cuomo announced today that he expects the entire state to receive 170 thousand coronavirus vaccine doses by the middle of this month.
The December 15th date assumes that drug-maker Pfizer gets the okay from the federal government to make it public on an emergency basis.
Cuomo also says that nursing home residents and staff will be among the first people getting the vaccine although frontline hospital workers in intensive care units and emergency rooms will get top priority.
