Recently revealed information offers more details about our first moon landing. Kopernik is also offering our Family STEM Hour starting at 7 PM.

Apollo 11: What You Didn’t Know will be presented by Allen Lutins, begining at 8 p.m.

This year marks the 50th anniversary of the first manned lunar landing. Did you know that it was not the first time humans had gone to the moon? Or that the first words spoken from the surface were not, “Houston, the Eagle has landed?” In this presentation, Allen Lutins offers details regarding these and other amazing facts surrounding that famous voyage, including our region’s significant involvement in landing humans on the moon.
