As the Stop DWI Coordinator for Cortland County, Sheriff Mark E. Helms called on the pizzerias in Cortland County, who offer pizza delivery to participate in Cortland County’s Stop DWI “Don’t Drink and Drive” campaign on Sunday, February 3rd, 2019.

The following pizzerias have agreed to participate in this year’s campaign:

  • A Pizza & More, Cortland and Homer locations
  • Domino’s Pizza
  • Little Italy Pizzeria
  • Pudgie’s Pizza
  • Spiedini’s Pizza Parlor

These pizzerias will be handing out free “Cortland County STOP DWI” pizza cutters with every pizza delivery they make (while supplies last) during the Big Game.

On average, four people will lose their lives to drunk driving just in the time it takes to watch the Super Bowl. But did you know that drunk driving accounts for almost one of every three deaths on our roads every year? In 2017, almost 30 people die in drunk driving crashes in the U.S. each day, that’s one person every 48 minutes. Your winning play is to never get behind the wheel if you’ve been drinking.

“Enjoy the game, be safe and don’t drink and drive”
