Forest Rangers discover a body in the Susquehanna River

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. – Forest Rangers have discovered a body in the Susquehanna River.

The body was found yesterday shortly before 11 am approximately a quarter mile from the Grippen Park boat launch area. Endicott Police suspect the body may be 47 year-old David Bower who is believed to have fallen off an approximately 10-foot high ledge into the river last Tuesday. An autopsy is taking place today where a positive identification is expected to be made.
