Decker Foundation Awards $85,000 to United Way of Broome County
The Trustees of the Dr. G. Clifford and Florence B. Decker Foundation have approved a grant of $85,000 to United Way of Broome County. The grant monies will be added to the 2018-2019 Annual Community Campaign for 2019 funding to community partners. 100% of the funds will be distributed across community service projects and programs that address the critical needs in our community and support local health and human service programs.
By focusing on the three strategic priorities, United Way of Broome County will continue its collective approach on addressing the basic needs of our most vulnerable populations while finding the solutions to our community’s strategic priorities. “The key to successfully ensuring the health, education, and financial stability of every person in Broome County is dependent on the continued commitment and collaboration of our local citizens, philanthropists, funders, and business leaders. We are thankful to have community partners, including the Dr. G. Clifford and Florence B. Decker Foundation, that are dedicated to creating a lasting change; every donation counts and together we will have a positive impact,” shared Jacqueline Gerchman, Executive Director United Way of Broome County.
The generous contribution by the Dr. G. Clifford and Florence B. Decker Foundation will support reputable non-profit agencies who work to address these needs across Broome County.
