Cuomo’s proposal for new license plates blasted by Lawmakers, New Yorkers


ALBANY, N.Y. – Beginning next year, license plates that are ten years old or more will need to start being replaced under a License Plate Replacement Program.

And, yesterday the Governor’s Office unveiled five new official license plate designs for residents to vote on.

But, as NewsChannel 34’s Corina Cappabianca explains, both Republicans and Democrats are questioning whether it’s necessary.
