The Binghamton Comedy Crawl has scored a major coup, announcing that it will be bringing a reunion of the entire cast of Seinfeld to Binghamton this weekend.
Okay, that’s an April Fool’s Joke, but there will be plenty of hilarious comics entertaining the crowds this Friday and Saturday.
The Comedy Crawl Festival begins Friday night with free shows at 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm at Galaxy Brewing featuring local comedians.
Then, the crawling begins Saturday with two sets of comics at the Galaxy and the pop-up comedy club inside the DoubleTree Hotel known as the Boho.
Adam Mamawala, whose album reached number one on iTunes last December, will headline at the DoubleTree, while Caitlin Peluffo, who recently appeared on the Steven Colbert show, will be the Galaxy headliner.
Organizer Giordi DeAngelo says the enthusiasm grows each year.
“People love the energy of the crawl. It’s very different from other comedy festivals. You’re starting in one venue, laughing, and then you’re crawling to the next venue. There’s something about crawling to each venue that adds that extra energy and people seem to really enjoy that part of it,” he said.
Tickets are $25 and can be purchased through the Binghamton Comedy Crawl Facebook page.
Attendees purchase either a purple circuit ticket that starts at Galaxy at 7:00 pm and then moves to the DoubleTree at 9:00 pm.
Or a green circuit ticket that goes the other way around.
