A new option for summer fun has been introduced in Vestal.
Chuckster’s held a grand opening for its new outdoor laser tag attraction.
The equipment for the game features a wireless headset and laser taggers that keep score through Wi-Fi and a scoreboard monitor.
The wooded arena also features eight surround-sound speakers to immerse players in the experience.
Right now 2-10 players can partake in the introductory “Team Battle” game mode.
The specially designed taggers are able to work outdoors both during the day and night.
Owner and General Manger Randy Stutzman says it’s easy to get hooked.
“It’s a lot of fun I would recommend that you give it a try. Come out, it’s not hard to play. You put on some simple equipment and it’s basically playing tag with a whole different experience involved,” said Stutzman.
Stutzman says there are plans to expand to 8 vs. 8 and to add different game modes.
Chuckster’s laser tag attraction is open daily from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
