Local job seekers have a resource to help find their next career.
Broome-Tioga Workforce, located at 171 Front Street in Binghamton, is hosting a Career Connection Series.
The series recently got started and included resume building and consulting along with tips on what to say and not to say during an interview.
Additionally, people had the opportunity to take part in mock interviews, where people can learn more about their nervous habits.
“We actually record folks during the process of our mock interviews. We play back the responses so they can take notice of some of the physical habits that come out when they’re nervous,” said Executive Director Sara Liu.
Other events in the series will include recruitment, civil service workshops and outreach events in rural communities such as Windsor and Whitney Point.
