BINGHAMTON, N.Y. – ICS is the Greater Binghamton Chamber’s Business of the Week.

Founded as Integrated Computer Solutions in the mid 1980’s, the company changed its name to just ICS to reflect the growing diversity of its products and services. Headquartered in Endicott, ICS is a managed service provider whose customer base is largely businesses with between 20 and 400 employees.

In addition to managing networks, the company offers both physical and digital security as well as I-P telephony, access control and printing services. President and CEO Kevin Blake joined the business in 1996. He says ICS’s workplace culture is the number 1 reason it’s been able to retain its talented staff.

“Our core values, family, integrity, team, it takes teamwork.  Our industry is a hard industry.  It changes, there’s a new threat coming out every day.  There’s also new enhancements, constant change.  Our guys do a lot to keep up with the times to protect our clients.”

ICS recently launched its digital security division called Integer.

And it has grown to include offices in Syracuse and Ithaca with 80 employees overall and roughly 55 in Endicott. Blake says it currently has openings in all 3 locations.
