Business of the Week: HeartGlow Massage

News

HeartGlow Integrated Massage is the Greater Binghamton Chamber Business of the Week.

It recently moved to a new location, inside 269 Riverside Drive in Johnson City.

Carol Schneider is a Certified Medical Massage Practitioner who created HeartGlow in 2015.

Schneider says her goal is to treat body, mind, and spirit.

She is an approved provider for the Syracuse VA’s non-VA care program.

Schneider says 90% of her clients are veterans whom she treats not only for physical ailments but also for stress, anxiety and PTSD.

She says the body stores negative emotions in the muscles and they can be released with the assistance of the client who must be willing to let go of the harmful energy. “I let the veterans know the positive results they get is to their credit.  I am their lovely assistant bringing in the energy and the different modalities that I’ve learned.”

Schneider produces her own CBD salve which she sells and uses in her treatments.

And, she’s a reiki master.

Schneider says she continually seeks additional training and will be attending the International Massage Therapy Research Conference in Virginia in May.
