20 Hawley Street is the Greater Binghamton Chamber Business of the Week.
The luxury student housing complex opened in 2012 and is geared toward Binghamton University students.
The former Marine Midland office building has 91 fully furnished units with 290 beds and is currently 97% occupied.
20 Hawley Street is owned by Alfred Weissman Real Estate and is operated by Peak Campus Management.
Property Manager Justin Knapp was himself a tenant before taking a job with Peak. “We have 24-hour maintenance that is really good at their job. They respond very quickly. As well as on-site management staff. We’re the only property in downtown Binghamton that has management staff that lives on site. So, we respond very quickly to anything that needs to be done.”
20 Hawley has its own movie theater, a large courtyard with a deck and hot tub, a free central laundry, large first-floor fitness center plus a virtual fitness area and yoga room.
There’s a computer with free printing, several study rooms and tenants can pay an additional monthly fee to get a reserved spot in the underground parking garage.
20 Hawley is currently leasing for next school year with per room rates ranging from 900 to 1285 dollars per month.
