NewsChannel 34 has learned that the polling location at the Old Student Union on the Binghamton University campus has run out of ballots.

According to the Broome County Board of Elections, Binghamton University had as many as 95% of its registered voters turned out to vote.

As a result, the campus polling place ran out of ballots.

Voters then had to fill out affidavit ballots instead, and those will be counted at the same time as the absentee ballots next week.
