One downtown eatery is seeing one of its busiest Binghamton Restaurant Weeks ever.
Sake Tumi on Court Street serves Asian-fusion food with a mix of Japanese and Thai dishes and has a full sushi bar.
It’s offering a 4-course lunch for $10 and a 3-course dinner for $20.
The lunches all start with soup, salad and spring roll and then include a choice of sushi or kitchen entree.
Or you can choose the bento box instead containing sushi, dumplings, rice and choice of protein.
General Manager Andy Daniel says the promotion is a great way to bring in fresh faces. “It goes to a good cause. And it’s something that unifies all of the local businesses in downtown Binghamton. And it brings people who normally would not come out and exposes them to all the great things we have to offer.”
This year, a portion of the proceeds from every Restaurant Week meal sold will be donated to GiGi’s Playhouse of the Southern Tier which is seeking to build a facility locally that will serve people with Down Syndrome.
Restaurant Week ends on Thursday.
