A Binghamton man has been sentenced to 17 and a half years in prison for downloading child pornography.

Forty-eight-year-old Reid Babcock admitted that from January through April of 2017 he downloaded more than 100 graphic image files of child porn on his phone.

The images depicted minors, some of whom were between 6 to 7 years of age.

Babcock was already a registered sex offender following a 2013 conviction in Vermont for lewd or lascivious conduct with a child.
