On Saturday, December 22nd at 5:30 pm the Binghamton Children’s Choir will perform a repertoire of New Orleans-style, rock and roll and holiday-themed music, at the Holiday Carousel Rides, the city’s ‘Event of the Year’ in Recreation Park. The performance takes place at the Rod Serling Gazebo, right next to the park’s recently restored 1925 Allan Herschell Carousel. The Binghamton Children’s Choir is a new community-wide initiative made up of eighteen local 7-12 year-old singers, marking its first full year of activities with this festival holiday season performance.

There are no auditions required and participation is free of charge to children aged 7-12 residing in the Greater Binghamton area. Choir activities are funded exclusively by donations, grants and sponsorships.
