A fairly new lubrication company in Endwell is getting engaged in supporting local charity.
Belgray Oil is hosting a donation drive and fundraiser for the RISE Domestic Abuse Shelter this Saturday.
Belgray was founded in 2015 by Patrick Hunter after working in the oil and gas industry for 15 years.
It manufactures and/or distributes greases, oils, hydraulic oils and motor oils for construction companies, mining and the oil and gas industry.
Hunter’s wife Kim says that as their business grows, they want to give back. “That’s what we’ve been trying to do for the last 4 years is just grow our business and be a bigger part of the community. We have 4 kids so we do a lot in terms of our family in the community and we just want to be able to give back more.”
The collection event runs from 9 to 4 on Saturday at Belgray Oil located at 315 Scarborough Drive behind the Union Diner.
Belgray is asking for donations of clothing, small kitchen appliances, toys and personal hygiene items for the women and their children who stay at the shelter.
The company will make a monetary donation for every bin of items collected.
Plus, there will be basket and 50/50 raffles and givaways and the Jukebox Donuts food truck will be on site from 9 until 1 p.m.
