“The Visual Cosmos of This & That: a three year existential therapy crisis” is a collection of three series created between 2015-2018 by artist Kristina O’Connor.

The exhibit features ink drawings on paper inspired by an intimate and conscious effort to understand, cope, and engage with the average American human experience. Our world is complicated. The Visual Cosmos of This & That strikes a balance between chaos and control, empathy and entertainment, and encourages us to not take things too seriously.

The Visual Cosmos of This & That opens on First Friday, July 6, from 5 – 8 p.m. at Tioga Arts Council at 179 Front Street in Owego. The exhibition will run from July 6 – 28, 2018. Join O’Connor as she voyages through the quirky and arrives at empathy, understanding, and peace.
