BINGHAMTON, N.Y. — Meanwhile in Endwell Battsiti’s opponent Mike Korchak was casting his ballot.
Korchak voted at the Northminster Presbyterian Church on Farm to Market Road. He says it was more important than usual this year to get in touch with voters due to the change from having primary day in September to June. Korchak says the main issue of this campaign has been experience.
Korchak says “My campaign personally has always tried to keep it positive in that experience really matters. Experience is the main point in this campaign. I’ve been a prosecutor for 21 years and an attorney for 30. My opponent has never prosecuted a case, never worked in a DA’s office, never presented a case to a grand jury. So god forbid if you or a loved one was a victim of a violent crime who would you want handling that case.”
Korchak says he will be tracking the results with friends and family at a celebration at Jonathan’s in Endwell. Polls close tonight at 9.
