BINGHAMTON, N.Y. — Today marks primary day and the candidates for Broome County District Attorney were out casting their votes.
Candidate Paul Battisti casted his ballot at the Old State Road Fire Station in Kirkwood. Battisti says it’s been a long and exciting journey to this point. He says he’s very confident in his chances and hopes everyone had the opportunity to get out and vote.
Paul Battisti Candidate for District Attorney says “I think it went wonderful. Looking back I couldn’t even expected or imagined it going any better. The community support has been incredible. Meeting numerous people at the doors I’ve really got to know the issues facing Broome County and I’m looking forward to continue on tomorrow morning.”
Battisti said he was enjoying primary day with his wife and kids. He says that he’ll be watching the results from at home where friends and family will be coming over for dinner.
