City of Binghamton receives additional money from federal government for coronavirus relief

BINGHAMTON, NY – The City of Binghamton is receiving additional money from the federal government for its COVID-19 response.

The Department of Justice is sending over $87,000 to the city to prevent, prepare for and respond to the coronavirus.

The money may be used for overtime and PPE for first responders, law enforcement equipment, training and supplies such as sanitizer.
