BROOME, NY (WIVT/WBGH) – The number of COVID-19 related hospitalizations in Broome County increased by 12 since yesterday.

196 cases have been reported over the past 5 days with 40 of them new.

There are now 55 people hospitalized.

The number of deaths remains at 534.
