Business Analyst- Tioga Downs Casino Resort
The role of the Business Analyst is to plan, coordinate, train and oversee all activities related to the design, development and implementation of company information systems and software applications. This includes configuring, maintaining and support of company wide, mission critical applications. Work with industry standard casino, hotel and financial applications. This person shall analyze business requirements to identify and implement software applications that improve business processes. This person will also help define and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices. Design, develop, analyze and document Computer Systems Applications to meet user and business needs System analysis of Application/Operating System environments to determine and meet business specifications. Programing of applications configurations, upgrades, patching to maintain Enterprise Applications and Operating Systems to support business/user needs. Perform application tuning, configuration, monitoring, and administration. Enforce and monitor security policies and procedures for software applications. Develop and maintain: installation, configuration and best practice procedures for applications. Provide customer support and technical direction for problem resolution. Review and analyze existing application effectiveness and efficiency, develop strategies for improving these systems. Keep current with latest technologies and best practices. On Call rotation. All other duties assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
B.S in Computer Science or related business field preferred. Experienced working in Hospitality, Casino or Financial environment or other high volume customer oriented IT environment. Experience working with gaming related software for Casino and Hotel management systems. Experience supporting AS400 financial applications and POS systems preferred.
