Box Office & Patron Services Manager/Education Coordinator – Tri-Cities Opera Company, Inc.

REQUIREMENTS

Regular business hours Monday – Friday. Some flexibility for weekends and evenings as needed, especially during production periods or events.

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a customer service focused person to manage our Box Office, Box Office volunteers, and Patron Services activities. This role entails operating the advance and performance-date ticket sales. Additional responsibilities include the promotion, booking and coordination of our educational events (through our “Opera-Go-Round” program).

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

The position requires an articulate speaker and writer with a strong command of English grammar and who is comfortable relating to an educated clientele of donors, educators, and patrons. A courteous person with a professional, public relations demeanor and a passion for culture and service will find this position exciting. Computer savvy is important, as is being well-organized on this full-time, busy desk. It could be a shared position if part-time candidates with flexible hours emerge. Background in administration, event planning, coordination, and customer service is helpful in this position at Tri-Cities Opera. A supportive, collaborative, team environment is key in our company. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

COMPENSATION

This is a full-time salaried position with health care coverage, and paid time off.
