“On the Republican side, Johnson City and Town of Union Judge Rick Miller is running for Broome County FamilyCourt Judge.
Miller made the announcement at Highland Park Wednesday afternoon, surrounded by family and friends.
Miller has been an attorney for more than 20 years and a law guardian for 14.
He said his professional success coupled with his family experience of being a husband and father to four children make him the ideal candidate.
“I’ve really had an opportunity over the years as a judge to see people at their worst, at their most vulnerable times, in a criminal court, in the second busiest criminal court in Broome County. I want to take the sum total of those experiences, I think I can be effective and really help more people in our community,” said Miller.
The general election is Tuesday, November 4th.”
