Stop DWI Holiday Classic Preview

The 22nd anniversary of the Stop DWI Holiday Classic kicks off this Saturday.
One of the most noteworthy High School boy's basketball tournaments will once again be taking place at the Broome County Arena this week. And This is some top caliber basketball that features some of the best players in the country. This year will mark the 22nd anniversary of the Classic. it's a 16 team tournament with an 8 team national division and 2, 4 team regional divisions. Last year in the regional divisions, Susquehanna Valley took down Chenango Valley for one of those titles and Binghamton edged out Maine-Endwell in the other division. And it'll be hard to top last year's National Bracket finals. The Trinity Shamrocks from Kentucky went up against the Bishop Loughlin lions from Brooklyn, New York. The game went into double overtime and Bishop came away with the tournament title. The tournament kicks off Saturday at 11:15 am. For a complete list of teams and schedules go to
