Schumer On Obamacare

Democratic U.S. Senator Chuck Schumer is weighing in on the problem-plagued Obamacare system.
Democratic U.S. Senator Chuck Schumer is weighing in on the problem-plagued Obamacare system. Schumer says he's open to amending the healthcare law. The deadline to get HealthCare.gov up and running is a day away and the site's tech teams have working to try to get the site in shape. However, the Department of Health and Human Services is lowering expectations after promising a fully functional website by the end of this month. It's now saying the glitches are not over, but things will be much better on the site than they were last month.

Chuck Schumer says, "Having the website not work was a real disgrace, they say it will be working by November 30th, we'll watch and wait. There should be changes made in the law if they need to improve it. There are some who say, dump the whole thing. I don't think that will happen."

Officials say the website will soon be able to sustain 50,000 users at the same time, which it was supposed to do originally. However, they also say that there will be more glitches and problems in the future.
