Ross Park Zoo Holds Courtship Tails For Valentine's Day

The Ross Park Zoo will be holding a special Valentine's Day event for couples.
The Ross Park Zoo will be holding a special Valentine's Day event for couples. Courtship Tails is an hour long exclusive tour for people 21 and older.

A heated van will transport couples to special exhibits where they will learn about the romantic rituals of animals. Tour stops will include at the penguin and leopard exhibits. Wine, desserts, and hot drinks will be provided. Couples will also receive a framed photo of themselves and a $40 dinner voucher to Michaelangelo's restaurant.

"It's an opportunity I think for the zoo to start to fund raise and build awareness for the new year. It's also a chance for zoo couples to see some unique animals that may be arriving in the first quarter of the year, and also meet some animals up close and personal as well," said executive director Steve Contento.

Courtship Tails will take place on February 8th and 9th as well as the 15th and 16th. The cost is $110 for member couples and $125 for non-members. For more information, log on to RossParkZoo.com.
