The Bundy Museum in Binghamton is celebrating African art Friday evening.

Its extensive collection of wooden carvings, bronze figures and musical instruments will be on display. And the Bundy is hosting a performance by the Nukporfe African Dance Drum Ensemble from B.U. Nukporfe will perform in the Bundy Annex behind the museum.

"They'll be welcoming audience participation. So, if you feel like getting up and moving, then it will be a good event for that," said Janna Rudler.

The performance and the exhibit are free tomorrow evening although donations are welcome. Doors open at 6:30 and the ensemble performs from 7 to 8 with tours of the collection before and after. The Bundy Museum is at 129 Main Street in Binghamton.
