Miller Auto Team Donates 10,000 Diapers

The Miller Auto Team has reached its goal.

Its month-long diaper drive in October raised 10.000 diapers and wipes to help needy families. Miller team members recently dropped off the donations at the Mothers and Babies Perinatal Network in Binghamton. The network distributes 10 diapers at a time on an emergency basis from its PAL Center on State Street. Steve Miller is the Honda Sales Manager.

"Diapers are very expensive, as well as the wipes. And a lot of people can't afford it. So, they're forced to decide between buying food and diapers. We definitely want them to choose food," said Miller.

"We don't have a usual donation so this is wonderful. And, it's a lot more than I even expected. It's going to help out tremendously for the community," said Linda Phelps.

On Monday, the Miller Auto Team offered free car washes to veterans at its Rubber Ducky Car Wash on the Vestal Parkway.
