Michael Kicinski Running for Congress

The race for the 22nd Congressional District is heating up and it's a year away from the election.
The race for the 22nd Congressional District is heating up and it's a year away from the election.

Republican U.S. Representative, Richard Hanna, currently holds the seat. The man who challenged him last time and was defeated by a wide-margin is running again. Michael Kicinski of Earlville in Chenango County made his candidacy announcement at Brothers 2 Restaurant in Endwell. Kicinski has lived in central New York for the past decade and is a former electronics engineer. He has embraced the Tea Party movement. Kicinski says government is forcing bad gun control legislation and Obamacare on the American people.

"I cannot and will not do nothing and leave my children this America. I'm ready and willing to take on this fight to where freedom, prosperity and common sense prevail, where American exceptionalism is encouraged and celebrated," said Kicinski.
