Mayor Elect Rich David Begins Process To Build Executive Management Team

From Rich David:

Mayor Elect Rich David today announced that he is seeking qualified and experienced administrators with a track record of success to apply for management positions within City Hall.

“I truly believe that the first personnel decisions are among the most important decisions any leader or public administrator will ever make,” said the Mayor Elect. “Success will be determined by who you surround yourself with and running the City is a team effort. I intend to cast a wide net to make sure City Hall has the most experienced Department Heads at the helm. I pledged to the voters that hires would be based on merit and that the search would be an open and transparent process, and that’s exactly what it will be.”

David will be accepting resumes at his Friends to Elect Rich David campaign/transition office, which is located at 81 State Street, Second Floor, Suite B, Binghamton, NY 13901. People interested in contacting him or sending a resume can also email or call the office at (607) 217-7447.

“I have begun the process of meeting with current department heads, and am scheduling more meetings in the days to come,” added David. “I will also be notifying them of personnel changes I plan to make so they have as much time as possible to seek other employment opportunities. Any department heads interested in staying on have the option to apply for their current or other positions within City Hall.”
