For the past 39 years, the Southern Tier has had professional hockey on Thanksgiving Day. Well this year, the Binghamton Senators are breaking with that tradition playing in a Thanksgiving Eve contest against the Syracuse Crunch. Hoffman has appeared in 209 career AHL games with Binghamton posting 51 goals, 75 assists for 126 points. This season, Hoffman has already racked up 10 goals and 14 assists. His 24 points ties for third place in the entire AHL. So clearly worthy of dawning the C.
