Hanna Weighs In on Obamacare

Congressman Richard Hanna is weighing in on what some people are calling the Obamacare debacle.

The President has issued an apology to Americans who are losing their insurance, because of the healthcare reform. The website is still plagued with problems and enrollment figures are far lower than what the White House expected, even after hundreds of millions of dollars were spent on the rollout. Congressman Hanna says he's very disappointed in how things have gone. He also says the overhaul won't be able to provide more insurance to more people at the same price, as was originally touted.

"I think the fundamental problem with our healthcare system is that all of this did nothing to bend the long-term cost curve. What we see is there are people who are learning they are going to pay substantially more, people being dropped," said Hanna.

During the month of October, only 106,000 people signed up through Obamacare, which is well below what the White House expected. To make things worse, only 27,000 people signed up through the federal website. The majority were through state exchanges.
