Final score: SU 20, Maryland 3

The Orange went on the road to take on the Terrapins.
College Park, Maryland (WSYR-TV) - The Syracuse University football team went on the road for their game on Saturday.

The Orange took on the University of Maryland Terrapins.

After one quarter, SU led Maryland 7-0.

The touchdown came on a one-yard run from Jerome Smith.

Kicker Ryan Norton converted a 34-yard field goal near the end of the second quarter to increase the lead to 10-0 at halftime.

In the third quarter, Norton made a 30-yard field goal.

Then Maryland kicker Brad Craddock made a 23-yard field goal with a little more than one minute left in the third quarter to make the score 13-3.

That was the score going into the fourth quarter.

Smith ran for another touchdown in the final quarter.  That run was a 21-yard score.

The final score of the game was 20-3.

SU is now 5-4 overall and 3-2 in the ACC.
