Duke game is 12 days away, but Syracuse students are already camping out to get best seats

Syracuse (WSYR-TV) - Outside the Carrier Dome, some Syracuse University students are already camping out to get a front row seat when Duke takes on the Orange on Feb. 1.

They already have tickets, but to have the best seat in the student section they need to wait it out and be the first ones there when the doors open.

It may be crazy to some, but the dedicated fans think it's worth it.

Sophomore Topher Lane said, “I was here in 2003 when they won the world championship, and I like the environment of camping out and stuff. I camped out for Georgetown last year, I went to the final.”

To keep it going, the sophomore from Cazenovia will be at the Dome for 12 days.

Four seats can be reserved for each person waiting.
