A little closer to home the future looks bright for the B.U. men's basketball team. If it seems like every week we do a story on one of their freshman winning America East rookie of the Week, it's because for the most part, we are. And yet again one of the Bearcats nabbed the honor this week. B.U. Freshman guard Yosef Yacob was named America East Rookie of the Week for the 2nd time this season. And not too much of a surprise considering he averaged 16 points and 3 assists in two games last week. That was highlighted by a game high 20 points in the Bearcats 72-70 road win at UMBC on Saturday. Yacob also showed he has some ice water in his veins by hitting the crucial free throw with 20 seconds left in the game. It's the 7th overall Rookie of the Week honors for B.U. who have had a league record four different winners. B.U. is at Hartford on Thursday.
