A stubborn area of low pressure will continue to circulate clouds and occasionally rainy weather into the Binghamton area through the rest of this week.
There should be some rain-free time Tuesday and Wednesday, with a better chance of a widespread rainfall Thursday.
No flooding is expected as this will be a long, drawn out affair, but rainfall amounts could approach 1" by the time the rain winds down Friday.
The clouds and occasional rain will keep temperatures a little cooler than where they should be, for the end of October.
Daytime high temperatures will be in the 50s, with overnight low temperatures in the 40s.
