Selections announced for Team USA basketball

Team USA – coached by Duke's Mike Krzyzewski and Syracuse University's Jim Boeheim – has announced its training camp selections for the 2014 Basketball World Cup squad.
Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – Team USA – coached by Duke's Mike Krzyzewski and Syracuse University's Jim Boeheim – has announced its training camp selections for the 2014 Basketball World Cup squad.

The list of 19 players features 10 NBA All-Stars.

Krzyzewski and USA Basketball President Jerry Colangelo will need to narrow the list down to 12 players.

The players will compete for roster spots during at USA Training Camp in Las Vegas beginning on July 28.

The list includes:

  • Stephen Curry (Golden State Warriors)
  • Anthony Davis (New Orleans Pelicans)
  • Andre Drummond (Detroit Pistons)

  • Paul George (Indiana Pacers)
  • Blake Griffin (Los Angeles Clippers)
  • James Harden (Houston Rockets)
  • Gordon Hayward (Utah Jazz)

  • Kyle Korver (Atlanta Hawks)
