Four people have been arrested in connection with the death of actor Philip Seymour Hoffman, according to media reports.
The Oscar winner was found dead at his New York City apartment on Sunday from a suspected heroin overdose.
Police allegedly discovered large quantities of the drug at the property, and a witness told investigators Hoffman was seen buying narcotics from two men near his Manhattan home.
Now four people have been taken into custody following a raid on a property in the city on Tuesday night, a New York Police Department spokesman has confirmed.
Although there has been no official statement released on the arrests, it is believed the suspects were targeted for selling heroin to Hoffman.
