Calgary, AB (SportsNetwork.com) - The Calgary Flames brought in free-agent forward Devin Setoguchi with a one-year contract on Saturday.
The 27-year-old winger totaled just 11 goals and 16 assists over 75 games for the Winnipeg Jets, his lone season with the franchise.
A right-handed shot, Setoguchi set career highs of 31 goals and 34 assists for the Sharks in 2008-09, but has struggled to approach that level of success since, despite registering two more 20-goal campaigns with San Jose.
The former first-round pick (eighth overall) of San Jose in 2005 has totaled 127 goals and 122 assists in 459 games for the Sharks, Wild and Jets. He has contributed 15 goals and 25 points over 53 playoff appearances.
