Binghamton University men's basketball coach Tommy Dempsey and his staff aren't in season just yet, but they are back on the court this week for an important reason.

Dempsey has a series of basketball camps coined, "Net Results," which offers area youths the chance to learn the game from his staff and players.

This week's day camp is for boys ages 6-14 and it provides campers with the opportunity to develop their skills and learn from an elite group of players and coaching staff.

Coach Dempsey said the camp is a great way to get the new players acclimated and involved in the community.

"When you bring in this many young people you are trying to make fans for life. I'm thrilled to see our numbers grow and it gives our freshmen who are here, a chance to work with the young kids in the community and try to build some young fans," said Dempsey.

Dempsey will hold his "Elite Prospect Camp" from August 16-17.

The camp is open to boys grades 9-12 and is designed for players who are looking to further their skills and play at the collegiate level.
