Back In Town

The Binghamton Senators are back in town and opening up their season this Saturday night.

Getting some practice in at the newly remodeled Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena. Lots of familiar faces on this B-Sens team. Last year's captain Mark Borowieicki is back and says this team is the closest team he's been on. And starting off the season against bitter rivals the Syracuse Crunch. Last year the B-Sens got swept in the first round of the playoffs and that left a pretty bitter taste in their mouths, making them even more hungry for that Calder Cup.
Nathan Lawson says, "It's very exciting you know it was a tough end to last year and so eager to get back on the ice and get some wins."
Chris Wideman says, "The end of the season was pretty tough. A great regular season and then the playoffs didn't go the way that we wanted to. We're back here ready to go hopefully get ourselves into that situation again and come through."
Corey Cowick says, "I know it's going to be rocking here on Saturday especially Syracuse coming to town and no better way to start off the year you know get the rivalry game out of the way get everybody into it right from the get go but it's exciting."
Mark Borowiecki says, "When it's that last bit before summer that stings for awhile and it's gonna be good to get out here and put that away and get out to a strong start."

Season kicks off Saturday night at the Arena against the Crunch. Puck drops at 7:05 pm. For ticket info go to
