Patriots offer Bills Gillislee two year deal

Gillislee is a restricted free agent

Buffalo - The New England Patriots have signed a 2 year offer sheet to Bills current running back Mike Gillislee.

According to ESPN, the deal is worth 6.4 million, including 4 million the first year of the contract.

Buffalo has 10.8 million dollars in cap room and by matching the deal it would reduce that to about 2.2 million.

Gillislee set a career high with nine touchdowns last season in Buffalo.

The Bills have five days to match the Patriots offer. If they do not they will receiver a fifth round pick in the draft from New England.

Last season the Patriots did the same move with Bills wide receiver Chris Hogan and just signed former Bills cornerback Stephon Gilmore this off season.
