Improperly carrying concealed firearm

Sharonville, OH - Bills defensive tackle Adolphus Washington was arrested Sunday night on a weapons charge near Cincinnati. 

Washington was booked by Sharonville, Ohio police for improperly carrying a concealed firearm. 

Officers were clearing a waterpark parking lot at 10pm in Sharonville when Washington reached for and displayed a firearm without informing police beforehand. He was sitting in his vehicle a few feet from officers. 

Washington was released later Sunday night. 

He's a graduate of Taft high school in Cincinnati and played football at Ohio State. In 2015, Washington was arrested in Columbus for soliciting of prostitution. 

The Bills issued a statement Monday:

"We are aware of the incident involving Adolphus Washington and have been in contact with him. Since it is a pending legal matter, we will have no further comment."

Washington has not commented.
