Mets Defeat Nationals, 6-1

- The Washington Nationals have dominated the New York Mets as of late, winning 10 of their last 11 games. Washington has a three game lead in the division and looked to widen the gap as they begin their three game home series.

Top 1, David Wright singles to left, Daniel Murphy scores, 1-0 Mets.

Next inning, Zach Wheeler singles to shallow right center, Werth can't make the catch, Travis d'Arnaud scores, Mets lead 2-0.

Top 7, Mets up 2-1, Murphy singles up the middle, two runs score and it's 4-1 Mets.

Couple batters later, Lucas Duda singles to center and the Mets take the 5-1 lead.

They go on to win 6-1.
