The Yankees took two of three games started by the Tigers' Cy Young Award winners with spectacular efforts from their rotation.

The Bronx Bombers sent rookie Shane Greene to the mound to face off against Rick Porcello and the AL Central leaders.

Bottom 4, newest Yankee Stephen Drew hits one to left, ball hops into the stands, Carlos Beltran scores and the Yankees lead 1-0.

Greene got out of some tough jams, 6th inning, runners on the corners, he gets Victor Martinez to ground into the 4-6-3 double play and Greene escapes with no damage.

8th inning, Ezequiel Cabrear, rolls one over to first, Chase Headley takes it himself.

Greene was just superb and the Yankees win 1-0.
