High school lacrosse recap, 4/12/18

ENDICOTT, N.Y. - To Ty Cobb Stadium, Union-Endicott and Ithaca.

A great scene before the game.

The Tigers giving the Little Red a green ribbon in honor of the Humboldt Broncos hockey team that was tragically killed in a bus crash last Friday.

Early on, free position for Kayla Shulman, nice bouncer for the game's first goal.

Then, another free position for Ithaca, this time Haley Richardson finds twine.

Then, great pass from Julianna Sageese to Mackenzie Rich who tucks it inside the post.

A 6-0 lead for Ithaca once I left, but no final score was reported.

To Sparta now for some boy's lacrosse.

Maine-Endwell hosting Binghamton.

Late in the game, Binghamton up one, make that two.

Ed Baker with a snipe.

Patriots up 8-6.

M-E back to within one here.

Frank Meyer bounces one home with :34 to play, we're tied at 8!

Just seconds left now, and it's Baker again.

He fakes high and goes low.

His hat trick goal is also the game winner, with one-one hundredth of a second left!

Binghamton picks up the 9-8 win in a thriller!
